Leanard Jewler

Leonard Jewler is a consultant at a non-profit technology company located in Northern Virginia. He has over 35 years of information technology experience, including 20 years related to healthcare. He has led project teams and conducted numerous analytic studies in the public interest. In 2000, he originated the concept for a web-based healthcare product alert service, which today serves over 500 healthcare facilities in the United States and Canada. Among his professional responsibilities for that effort, he identified, analyzed, and presented a new set of metrics in healthcare recall management and authored a paper on best practices in this emerging healthcare field. Earlier in his career, he managed a research programming team at the Department of Epidemiology at the Harvard School of Public Health. He received a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University and studied at the Harvard University Graduate School of Design.

 

Len lives in the Chevy Chase neighborhood of Northwest Washington D.C. His son attended Lafayette Elementary School and graduated from Wilson High School in 2006.
